David Wallis - Managing Director/Owner
David started out in the engineering industry, training as an apprentice, and gaining two City and Guilds qualifications, as well as the Engineering Industry Training Board certification. After being in this field for ten years, he transferred to the construction industry as a painter and decorator. Having learnt the trade from skilled tradesmen, he proceeded to start up Wallis Decorating, completing contracts for companies like Amjac Construction, Berkeley Homes, and L&Q, amongst others. These projects ranged from new build developments to student accommodation re-fits. Following on from the success of Wallis Decorating he has now decided to branch out into the wider construction industry and formed Wallis Contracting, where he will be working alongside our dedicated team of professionals to fulfill our client’s needs and expectations. |

Dave Conroy - Contracts Manager
As a time served carpenter & joiner within the city & guilds institution , Dave has achieved his advanced city and guilds merit. Following this he was then accepted as a Fellow of the institute of carpenters. The experience Dave has gained over 34 years in the industry as first a Carpenter and later as a Contracts Manager has assisted in his ability to move into multi trade projects. The wide spectrum of his trade has allowed Dave to excel in problem solving and foresee the transition between all trades contributing in the finished article , whether that be refurbishments or base build projects he has experience of managing all trades from contract exchange through to handover. Over the last 10 years Dave has managed, costed and programmed multiple jobs with the aid of successful supervisors who have shared his vision and passion and excelled under his guidance . |
